Auto update

Auto-update keeps Freebird up-to-date with the latest changes.

I recommend keeping this enabled, since Freebird is improving rapidly, and I take a lot of care to avoid breaking your installation.

If you've selected Early Access, then you'll receive changes released to Early Access. Otherwise, you'll receive the latest stable update, that has been tested sufficiently before releasing.

Enabling auto update

  1. Open Freebird Settings

    Main Hand

  2. Enable Auto Update

    Enable Auto Update

The latest update will be fetched the next time you restart Blender.

A note about automatic updates

The updates are downloaded in the background, and applied the next time you restart Blender, so they won't interrupt your work.

The updates are fairly small in size, and won't consume a lot of internet data.
