Edit an object mesh

Edit

You can edit a mesh by modifying its vertices/edges/faces and performing operations like Bevel, Inset and Extrude.

Activate edit mode

  1. Select an object by enabling the Select tool and clicking on an object with the main trigger.
  2. Point at the main menu, and click on the Edit EDIT button (at the top of the menu) using your main hand's trigger button.

This will allow you to edit that object, by activating the EDIT mode.

Leave edit mode

Once you've finished editing the mesh, you can leave the edit mode by pointing at the main menu, and clicking on the Object OBJECT button (at the top of the menu) using your main hand's trigger button.

View vertices/edges/faces

Vert Edge Face

You can choose which type of mesh element is displayed and selected.

  1. Activate the EDIT mode, as described above.
  2. Point at the submenu for the edit mode, and click on the desired mesh element type: VERT (vertex), EDGE or FACE

Move and resize vertices/edges/faces

You can grab the desired vertices/edges/faces using the main squeeze button, and move them to different locations. You can move, rotate or resize them.

Select vertices/edges/faces

You can select the desired vertices/edges/faces by enabling the Select tool and clicking on them with the main trigger.

Erase vertices/edges/faces

You can erase the desired vertices/edges/faces by enabling the Erase tool and clicking on them with the main trigger.
